watching play

I went to the Kumu Kahua Theather to watch play for my class by myself. It is located in down town. I have ever been to there but I always think I do not want to go down town by myself. It is because I saw a lot of homeless and strangers at down town and my parents and their friends said I should not go to down town by myself at evening or night, so I was a little bit scared to go to down town.

 

I saw the show the tittle was “ihula”. The story was about hula in Hawaii. It was hard to understand what the actors said because English is not my first language…but I thought it was fun to see. I was drawn to the show. I really wanted to join that show because acting is part of my life and I really love to play on stage. I do not like to speak in front of people but on the stage I can change myself! The show was so amaging!!

 

When I went to that place, I was wearing contacts not wearing my glasses. I usually put on my glasses and do not do make up, but I tried to use contacts and tried to makeup, because my friend said I have to have confidence in myself and change my looking. I felt a little bit strange because I did not put my glasses on my face…
